Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial

Both billing cycles begin with a 30-day free trial. You add a payment method up front through Stripe, but you are charged $0 during the trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial — from your dashboard billing settings — and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and your payment method is charged the plan price.

2. Billing and Renewal

After the trial, the base subscription is $400/month or $4,000/year (the annual price includes two months free versus the monthly rate). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate until you cancel. All billing is handled by Stripe.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your dashboard (Settings → Billing) or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — your subscription stays active, and you keep access, through the period you have already paid for. There is no lock-in contract; after the current period ends, your account is downgraded and recurring billing stops.

4. Refunds

Because you can cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the period you paid for, we generally do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, and annual plans are not refunded for unused months. If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a timely cancellation — use our contact form within 30 days and we will investigate and correct genuine billing errors. Any discretionary refund we choose to provide does not waive this policy for future charges.

5. Dedicated Strategist Add-on

The Dedicated Strategist add-on ($1,500/month) is optional and is billed as a separate Stripe subscription with no free trial. You may cancel it at any time, independently of your base subscription; the add-on ends when cancelled and no further add-on charges are made. If your base subscription ends, the strategist add-on is automatically cancelled.

6. Price Changes

We may change our prices or plan features. We will give prospective notice of any change, which takes effect at your next renewal. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us, or a chargeback made in bad faith, may result in suspension or termination of your account. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

8. Taxes

Our prices are stated exclusive of any applicable taxes. RankControl is operated by RankControl, LLC, a United States (Delaware) company. Where we are required to collect sales tax, VAT, or GST on your subscription, it will be added at checkout or on your invoice. Where we are not required to collect tax in your jurisdiction, you may be responsible for self-assessing and remitting any local VAT, GST, or sales tax (for example, under reverse-charge rules for business customers) and for any withholding required by your local law.
